• Umee has been established in response to local community demand for quality disability support services.
  • We will provide home care service and community nursing care in participant’s home, or in community areas such as libraries, coffee shops, or office space as necessary.
  • We will provide services in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Hindi, Nepal, Arabic, Korean, and Chinese.
  • The service area mostly includes St. George, Sutherland shire, inner west, City and East, North Shore, Northern beach, Northwest, West area, and Southwest.

OUR Services provided


  • Assistance with travel and transport

    A participant is allocated transport funding if they cannot use public transport without substantial difficulty as a result of their disability. Umee will assist these participants with transportation to everyday commitments including to medical or social appointments, shopping, work, school or university.

  • Household tasks

    This includes assistance with, and supervision of personal tasks of daily life to enable participants to live as autonomously as possible including shopping, meal preparation and delivery, general cleaning and maintenance, laundry and gardening.

  • Community nursing care

    Specialist care for participants with high care needs provided by qualified and experienced Registered Nursing staff, with a high level of skill and training to respond to complex needs.

  • Innovative community participation

    Help for participants who wish to access mainstream activities that align with their diverse interests, needs and goals. This may include participating in their local sporting competition, attending social activities such as concerts.

  • Daily personal activities

    Assistance with and supervision of personal tasks, including showering, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, getting in and out of bed, help with eating and moving around the house. These activities allow the participant to live as independently as possible.

  • Development of daily living and life skills

    Training and development for participants and their carers to increase their ability to live as autonomously as possible, including activities that will enhance their ability to travel and use public transport independently.

  • Group and centre based activities

    Assistance to help participants to incorporate into group activities, including community, social and recreational activities. This may include daily group excursions and visits to local places of interest.

  • Assistance with Daily Living in Group Shared Living

    Assistance for participants who live in shared accommodation, including help with everyday tasks and skill development. Short-term care and respite care are also available so the participant’s carers can take a break is also available.

  • Participation in community, social and civic activities

    Assistance is provided to enable participants to be active members of their community by supporting them to attend and partake in activities that interest them and that align with their goals and lifestyle.
